Expect to show ID and confirm you’re the driver, or that you have the owner’s or carrier’s permission, before the cab is opened.
Fix it on site or tow it?
A lockout should never need a tow. It only becomes a repair when a door lock, latch, or power lock actuator failed and caused the lockout in the first place. Those parts can usually be repaired or replaced on site once the cab is open.
If a child or pet is inside — especially in summer heat — or the truck is rolling or stopped somewhere dangerous, call 911 first.

Will you have to break a window?
The goal is always to open the door without breaking glass, using entry tools designed for commercial vehicles.
Can you make me a new key?
Lockout service opens the truck. If the key is lost or broken, you’ll usually need a dealer or locksmith who can cut and program keys for your truck.
Do I have to prove it’s my truck?
Yes. Expect to show ID and confirm you’re the assigned driver or have the owner’s or carrier’s permission.
My phone is locked in the cab. How do I call?
Borrow a phone from another driver or the truck stop counter and call (501) 263-2565. Give dispatch a number where the technician can reach you.
I locked the keys in a running truck at a fuel island. Now what?
Tell the fuel desk so they can manage the lane, stay near the truck, and call dispatch with the truck stop name and lane number.
Can you open a side box or sleeper door?
