South to Pine Bluff
I-530 begins at the I-30/I-440 interchange in south Little Rock — an interchange that handles more than 100,000 vehicles a day — and heads south with US-65 and US-167. US-167 splits off toward Sheridan and El Dorado at Exit 10 (southbound only). From there the interstate runs through wooded, mostly rural country past Hensley and Redfield, then through White Hall and around the west and south sides of Pine Bluff.
Unusually, I-530’s exit numbers count up heading south from Little Rock. Log trucks, grain trucks, and freight headed to southeast Arkansas all use it.
